Tool for mounting and dismounting control arm joint bushings.

A tool intended for mounting or dismounting press-fit elements such as ball joints, brake shoe pins, etc. The tools are made of cast iron and hardened carbon steel. The entire set is packed in a sturdy plastic case.

Applications:

Four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicles equipped with a Dana 44 type drive shaft, found in vehicles of brands such as FORD, GM, DODGE, IHC, JEEP.

Set contents:

  • C-shaped screw press
  • Centering pin
  • 3 through bushings in sizes [diameter x length]: 2-3/4" x 3", 2-1/4" x 2-1/2", 1-3/4" x 2" (44/50mm x 46mm, 57/63mm x 45mm, 70/76mm x 60mm)
  • External mounting adapter [diameter x length]: 2-1/4" x 0.845" (48/52mm x 21mm)
  • Internal mounting bushing 1-3/4" (46/50 x 63mm)
  • External adapter [diameter x length]: 2-1/4" x 2-1/2" (51/57mm x 63mm)
  • Stepped internal mounting adapter 0.941”
  • Stepped external dismounting adapter 1/2”
